So seriously, you'd think these guys would be better about stowing lightsabers in hostile territory. Also keeping track of party members. At least they have a pirate? Or a pilot. Or a parachute? Well, one thing I do know is that there's a holocron somewhere and new party members have appeared. Or they will appear at an appropriate narrative point. We like appropriate narrative points. Yes. So! Get those lightsabers...I mean flashlights...ready, and we sally on!

Welcome, dear listeners, to the beginning of our latest campaign!
Mike has chosen Andrew, Chris, David, Johnathan, Renee and Zach to join him in exploring the fantastic setting of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra using the 13th Age system. Though some tweaks to the setting might be necessary... with multiple players, that means there should be multiple Avatars, right?
Listen in to this extra-long episode as we brainstorm how to meld the 13th Age's Icon system with the denizens of the Spirit Realm and generate a band of characters that are just as likely to fight among themselves as they are a common enemy!

Hey there Faceless Army, it’s David. I’m sure you’ve noticed this isn’t the length of a regular episode, and for that I apologize.
This podcast is a labor of love, and unfortunately that means that sometimes it has to take a backseat to other things going on in our lives. The last week and weekend have been… very busy, for reasons both expected and unexpected, and as a result I have not had the time to finish an episode for release this week.
The episode I’ve been working on – or been trying to work on – is a character creation session for a new campaign that Mike is running for us, using the 13th Age system, and set in… well, I don’t want to spoil it just yet. But it’s an extra-long episode and I felt that it would be better to release it all at once than split up the character creation over a series of weeks.
In a world with an endless supply of ways to entertain yourself, I am humbled and honored that you choose to spend some of your time listening to us. My hope is always that you have as much fun listening to us play as we have playing, and I hope you continue to have fun with us for years to come.

The party discusses whose gods are better, and try to outsmart a statue. Rook breaks into some tombs and bullies the party a little. Zharko goes blind, gets drunk, the usual. An artifact of immense power is found.

Times were simpler then. Sure, not all the trains ran on time, but humans were mostly free to be idiots with relatively mild side effects.
Do you remember those heady days? Where the sun didn't scream angrily down at us from so, so terribly close?
Plant life instead of desolate wasteland.
Animals instead of ashes.
Friends instead of... anyways those days are gone. Let us remember happier times.
